A Satisfying Mix
About Us

Members of a few of Central NY's popular groups have formed a new band-ABOUTTIME. This talented group of 1 female lead singer and 4 musicians make up a refreshing variety group with a big sound.  Although they lend their vocals mainly for background and harmony, the drummer and bass player are also lead singers.  This makes for an unlimited selection on AboutTime's choice of music.

Making the band a much welcomed difference from the rest, is AboutTime's female lead vocalist and her ability to perform many favorite male-led tunes such as "Separate Ways", "Home Sweet Home",  "Sir Duke", "Thriller", or Disco Inferno just to name a few. Never to be underestimated or short-lived, AboutTime's song selection is a hit among all ages, the rock lovers, the country lovers, and even the "disco-only" lovers.

Performing in '08 at the newly opened Quaker Steak & Lube, ABOUTTIME was the only female-led variety band to play at it's "Bike Nite" in front of the season's record-breaking (695 motorcycles, 800+ people) crowd.  Playing at a venue that only hires rock bands, AboutTime set out to and DID prove that just because someone rides a motorcycle and wears leather, it doesn't mean all they want to hear is rock-n-roll. It was probably the first time a band actually got the crowd's attention, and kept it from beginning to end! People danced and Tina Turner's "Proud Mary" brought down the house that included a repeat performance with 8-10 dancing staff.  AboutTime attracts everyone's attention, not just patrons. They were welcomed back for another performance in 2009 to a hot, sunny day and record breaking bike night of 1100 motorcycles.  In 2010, AboutTime was chosen as Quaker Steak & Lube's favorite band, the only band to play once a month for it's entire 2010 Bike Night season.

AboutTime also supports causes by donating their time to play for such events as:  S.W.I.M. (Syracuse Women in Music) benefit concerts, the 2010 "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer" walk; Macy's 5th Annual "Shop for a Cause" and Hope For Heather.  The band appeared on T.V. Channel 9 "Bridge Street Live" with an interview and live performance of Journey's hit song,  "Don't Stop Believin" and closed the show with Jennifer Lopez's "Waiting For Tonight".

Rock isn't always loud, dance isn't always "disco", Jazz isn't always boring, Country is not always twangy...  And so the name is what it means:  AboutTime there is a band to take on all that is good in the world of music, keep the listeners' attention, and mix it up right.
